1kz Te Cylinder Head Crack Sealer
Pc Keygen. Hi Folks I have a '96 3.0D Granvia that has started losing significant amounts of coolant with no obvious signs of leakage anywhere, so I'm suspecting cracked or porous cylinder head or (maybe less likely as a steel one) blowing head gasket. Small bubbles at top of rad indicate that some pressurisation is coming in from somewhere.
It's still running OK for the moment my mechanic friend has changed a couple of heads on Granvias and reckons it's quite a common occurrence - anybody here encountered it? And did you replace with a secondhand or recon head or as he did with a new pattern type (available on e bay for around £400 assembled and shimmed with exchange cam and valves, and supplied with new gasket set and head bolts) - his thinking (aside from cost issues) being that a pattern type would be cast differently than the OE one, and thus avoid any inherent problems Any advice gratefully received. Cheers, Mr Dillon. Thanks for the info I did spot an ad for K Seal on E Bay (in amongst all the ones for cylinder heads!) and it does sound good but I've no experience of it myself - so interesting to hear your comments after using it successfully.
Intericad T5 Keygen Generator And Crack.Exe there. I'm about halfway through removing the head now so I'll think I'll carry on for the moment and have it pressure tested to get a definite diagnosis. I intend to keep the vehicle long term so will probably end up replacing the head, but I think I'll certainly keep some K Seal in the emergency kit for those longer jaunts.
This article will guide you through the simple steps on how to check & identify a cracked cylinder head and how you should repair it.
Not used K seal but considering it (well just bought some today) - lots of very positive feedback around the web about it. In terms of changing your cylinder head - I had what I now believe was a re-conditioned one installed on my Granvia and regret it as I've got problems all over again, I understand they are prone to cracking even after a re-conditioning.
Having spent a fortune on the last one and only getting 15 months out of it I really wasn't pleased. I didn't know at the time there was a difference. I believe the cylinder heads are the same as used in the the toyota landcruiser (so my reading and trawling round the web leads me to believe). There is a great website for owners of landcruisers which I trawled through you might find useful info here i certainly did Key for me was a link to someone who lots of people seem to believe provides solid non re-conditioned cylinder heads. I've been fortunate to find a local mechanic that seems to know his stuff with these engines and he would not touch a re-conditioned one, he said it wasn't worth his reputation and advised if I can find one with a guarantee its not re-conditioned he'd happily fit it.
So my web searching lead me here: I unsderstand Steveo provides a complete package with camshaft and valves, too. I'm going to try the K seal this weekend as a stop gap but like yourself want something permanent so hope my finding assist your decisions, good luck. Download Aplikasi Penangkap Wifi Untuk Laptop Stand. Thanks for the info My mechanic said the same thing - recon or repaired are waste of time. I've found NEW pattern heads (probably made elsewhere in far east) for around £400 including exchange cam and valves - all assembled and shimmed and supplied with gasket set and new bolts. These would be a different casting than the OE Toyota ones which obviously have an inherent cracking problem and I would imagine come with a guarantee. (put in granvia cylinder head into an e bay search for more info) I've used pattern heads on vauxhalls a couple of times with great success - the quality was as good or better than vauxhall's OE ones. These ones for Toyota are a bit of an unknown quantity - but technology has moved on in the 15 years or so that these heads have been around, so a new pattern might be no bad thing Cheers.
Well the head's off now and I found cracks between the valves on cylinders 2,3 and 4! 2 and 3 are just hairlines but 4 was a pronounced one that you could feel with a fingernail, so suspect that was where the water was going. The hilux site is littered with stories of head problems (one poor guy was touring round Pakistan!), so I think there is definitely a problem with Toyota OE heads, and I'm loathe to put another one of those on at great expense - especially as mine has done only 70k miles. Everything else looks great - no wear on the cam, still see the honing marks on the bores etc etc, so I think a bit of an achilles heel for an otherwise bomb-proof engine. I'm going for a pattern one - it should last the same miles, and if no,t at least it was cheap and will probably be someone else's problem by then!
I'll report back when it's all done. Well t'is all done now. Ended up going for a Japanese head, pattern but supposedly OE quality(?!) and modified to cure the cracking problem. Came in at 599.00 with exchange cam fitted and shimmed, full top gasket set, new valves installed, glowplugs, bolts and cambelt. It seems excellent quality - well machined from good material, and everything fitting sweetly. Got it from www.atozmotorspares.co.uk in Dewsbury.
