They will result in an immediate ban. This was an idea I had a few years ago. The 3D models created for Dawn of War seemed ideal for use in Roll20. Recently, I found a VTT program where they were used, took some pictures, and made tokens. I was specifically interested in finding tanks, as they are iconic to 40k; and are really hard to find in the specific top down orientation. Final Draft 9 Keygen Machine.

Seriously, I really need Chimeras and other Imperial tanks. Observations: Can we use these models? Short answer. The resolution isn't great. Dawn of War models were made to be viewed from a fair distance away. Ergo, when you zoom in they look kind of block-ey and low res.

I don't know if I would source Imperial Guard or Eldar 3D models, but the marines look alright. Will I be switching? The resolution isn't good enough for me and the tanks really look a lot worse than what I have, which is a combination of model pictures and stuff from Forge World books. I also don't use a lot of space marines, which seem to be the easiest to find and copy. I think I'll be sticking to what I know and love. I've already harvested Armageddon too. I love the way Slitherine Ltd.

Just left everything open for modders. Their prices are insane, but their love for the modding community is real. Their stuff just doesn't have much use for me in a traditional RPG. I got some nice face shots of Steel Legion though, which will eventually end up in some games. It's just too bad that the big OW game we played on Armageddon was winding down before that game came out.

I'm actually not sure if the models I've got are DoW2 or DoW1. I am pretty sure they are DoW2. I just didn't make the discrimination in the above post. I know they came from a DoW game.

I'd really like to get my hands on the space marine models out of the Space Hulk games, as their resolution was quite high. That was incidentally one of the reasons why that game was so slow. I can see if you use SNES stuff to make your maps how that kind of resolution might work well with Vassal stuff. My goal is always for the map to look sort of like a sci-fi reality.
