While plugging the dmxis in to do a demo, i just got the error message 'The FTDI Serial driver is installed on your Mac. This Driver prevents DMXIS from communicating with its hardware.' So i looked that up in the enttec knowledge base and discovered 'On OS X, the DMXIS software communicates directly with the hardware interface via USB. If the FTDI serial driver is installed on the computer, this will block all DMXIS communications. The solution is to delete the FTDI serial driver ' (and then instructions on how to do this) my problem with this is that i have just installed this FTDI driver in order to do a bunch of work with the Arduino platform (). Anno 1404 Crack Deutsch Download Music.
I plan to use the arduino to connect several sensor inputs for my computer, to control a composition in Live + MaxforLive. The composition will include sound, and light control with dmxis running inside live. So i'm looking for some other solution than to not use the FTDI driver. Does anyone here have any ideas on where to start?
Dylan arm 15.10.11 20:47. Problem: When starting DMXIS on OS X, the following error is displayed: 'The FTDI Serial driver is installed on your Mac. This Driver prevents DMXIS from communicating with its hardware.'
Solution:On OS X, the DMXIS software communicates directly with the hardware interface via USB. If the FTDI serial driver is installed on the computer, this will block all DMXIS communications. The solution is to delete the FTDI serial driver as follows: 1) Log into OS X using the Administrator account 2) Start Terminal (located in Application >Utilities) 3) Type these commands into the Terminal (entering your admin password when prompted): • sudo rm -r /System/Library/Extensions/FTDIUSBSerialDriver.kext • sudo rm -r /Library/Receipts/FTDIUSBSerialDriver.pkg 3) Restart your computer and run DMXIS - it should now connect to the hardware successfully. Thanks in advance, Arm Nicolas Moreau 15.10.11 21:14. We use the resources given to us by FTDI, you can voice your concerns to FTDI and ask them to create a CDM driver like on windows, which has both VCOM and D2XX in one. The more people complain the higher priority this will get.
