I was trying the Ran route, and everything went fine, until I went to the dungeon. After 6th level, Ran and Hojo met, except Ran got killed by that demon with the flaming hairstyle, and I got kicked out of the dungeon with Ran gone from my squad. And I can't figure out what went wrong.

Do I got to change Ran's relationship to normal or something before I finish off the Hojo house and begin the rescue mission? Or do I got to go through the History route first, before I can try these other routes on second playthrough?
